2. App Functionality
Ad Detector analyzes technical signals from apps on the device and provides a list of apps with different suspicion levels. The results are provided for informational guidance only.
3. Technical Limitations
Android does not provide a mechanism that can identify with absolute certainty which app displayed a specific ad. Ad Detector does not guarantee detection of every app that causes ads and does not claim that any app is definitively malicious.
4. User Decisions
Users are responsible for decisions to disable permissions, force-stop, or uninstall other apps. Review apps carefully before removing important or system applications.
5. Not Antivirus Software
Ad Detector is not antivirus software, does not perform in-depth malware scans, does not block ads, and is not a substitute for a dedicated security solution.
6. Advertising
The app may display advertising supplied by Google AdMob. Advertising availability, personalization, and content may vary by region, device, and user consent choices.
7. Lawful Use
You agree not to use the app for unlawful purposes, unauthorized interference with devices, or collection of other people's information.
8. Changes to the Service
We may update, change, or discontinue certain features to improve the product or comply with platform requirements.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for damages arising from a user's misinterpretation of analysis results or removal of necessary apps.
